Places!

So, I'm going to start a ranking system for pricing, attractiveness, and photogenicity.

Note: These standards lean towards an outdoor wedding, which is risky, but what I feel to be one of the most practical and beautiful, affordable options.

So, for pricing, we'll go with:

* $0-500
** $500-1000
*** 1,000-2,500
**** $2,500-5,000

I don't really think it will be within my means (nor do I want) to go above those sums.

For attractiveness:

* Appealing, but could be crowded or noisy (a park), messy, inconvenient to get to, or small. May not have running water or electricity, may not have many amenities. May be too expensive. Location meets at least four of the criteria for an excellent location*.

** Attractive. Running water and electricity. Might still be too noisy or small. Has at least two or more attractive photogenic settings. Is not more than 200 miles from majority (75%) of family and friends. Has at least two hotels or inns nearby. Is relatively easy to find. Moderately expensive. Location meets at least six of the criteria for an excellent location*.

*** Photogenic, beautiful. Many secluded photo spots. Easy to find. Available for renting, therefore more private and less noisy. Natural, wooded, parks, gardens, walking areas. There is a field where we can set up tents. Location meets at least eight of the criteria for an excellent location*.

*Notes: An excellent location is one that: (1) Is affordable (within *, ** or *** for pricing). (2) Is photogenic, with a rating of at least (** or *** for photogenicity), (3) Is located within 200 miles of the majority (75%) of family and friends. (4) Has amenities for running water and electricity. (5) Is relatively easy to locate. (5) Has a large open space for the possibility of tents for the reception. (6) Is rentable till at least 12 AM. (7) Has at least three secluded, romantic, or otherwise beautiful places for taking wedding pictures. (8) Has prelaid/setup stone areas for holding ceremonies. (9) Allows alcohol on its premises. (10) Is located at least a mile away from residential areas.
